How to Switch from Kajabi to Systeme.io

Export your course content

In Kajabi: Settings → Exports → Course Content. Export your video scripts, lesson text and PDFs. Note: hosted video on Kajabi isn't directly exportable — download from your video host (Wistia/Vimeo) or re-upload from originals.

Export your email list

Kajabi: People → All Members → Export. Download CSV with subscriber emails, tags and subscription status.

Export your products and sales data

Settings → Exports → Sales for revenue records. Keep these for accounting.

Set up Systeme.io account

Sign up at systeme.io — the free plan covers 1 course, 3 funnels and 2,000 contacts. Verify your custom domain in Settings → Domains.

Rebuild your course in Systeme.io

Courses → Create Course. Upload your videos (Systeme.io hosts them), recreate modules and lessons. The builder is drag-and-drop and faster than Kajabi's.

Import your email list

Contacts → Import → CSV. Map email, first name. Tag subscribers appropriately for segmentation.

Rebuild your funnels and checkout pages

Funnels → Create Funnel. Systeme.io's funnel builder is comparable to Kajabi's pipelines. Rebuild your sales page, checkout and thank-you page.

Set up email sequences

Automation → Email Campaigns. Recreate your welcome sequence and nurture emails. Systeme.io's visual rule builder handles all common triggers.

Test everything before going live

Run a test purchase, check the student dashboard experience, verify email delivery. Run both platforms in parallel for 2 weeks minimum.

Redirect old Kajabi URLs and cancel

Set up 301 redirects from old Kajabi page URLs to your Systeme.io pages. Then cancel Kajabi — but download one final full export first.
